one of the first eye catching glimpse when arriving is this green pasture passing by twyford court Uni campus. this is where students hang out during sunny days of summer, showing their worked out hot body with aerodynamic curve-lines. and for the masculine opposition, all the hard work during winter finally paid off, displaying six packs some even eight. totally killer. not a view to be seen in my future quarters. certainly a view to remember. Adios Surrey!

My First HDR
Going to The Post Office
Going to the post office is fun. 15Minutes to and fro. Considered as a short walking exercise, and loosen up a bit and look at some faces. Sometimes there can be some interesting incidents happening, but not always with the camera to capture all of it. the phone camera plays an important role. SOme ppl might like to carry a small compact camera around, but if a phone can do the job decently, then why not. my iPhone has been a pleasure to use, like it :) the photo

Burglar in Guildford
Step 1. Open the back door
Step 2. Grab a chair and align it with the windowStep 3. Step on top of the chair and completely open the kitchen window
Step 4. Carefully climb through the window, if there are culinary nearby, it might create distraction
Step 5. Don't Leave Muddy Footprints on the Premise
Step 6. Dont Leave 'Footprints on the Premise
The above steps were undertaken by 6ft guy to break into my apartment. Luckily I was home (sleeping) and he woke me (thanks to the plates). He was shocked as much as I was, and wanted to get out. As I am smaller than him, its better to let him go. Just a warning to all, lock your doors and windows :'(
Tamron SP AF 17-50mm f/2.8 XR Di II LD IF
Wimbledon? Nope, once again this Lens has shown remarkable sharpness. This photo is cropped by 50%, and the details are just so crisp.
The picture below shows the amazing bokeh using f2.8. This will certainly be a great advantage of those who like to take portraits. The Tamron 17-50 Non VC version has better review from lab testings, which is the reason why I chose it over the VC version. But the next plan is to get a Tamron 70-300mm f/4-5.6 Di VC USD, because being a poor man, and reading the goodness of VC or IS equivalent, I would really like to try my hands on one of those. Preparing for my next trip, which I might do more street shooting and sniping (LoL) Hopefully this will be a poor man's best combination, together with another prime lens, might fill the gap in the lens family.Ahad, 17 Julai 2011
Tamron 70-300/4-5.6 Di VC USD

Review was good, another fine lens with a fine price

Olympus Trip 35 - 35mm Film Camera
For anyone who wants to take well exposed, sharp pictures but can manage with a fixed focus lens, I would recommend the trusty old Olympus Trip 35. Not the new plastic bodied, plastic lens toy variety, but the metal bodied model with a multi-coated Zuiko lens promoted so successfully by David Bailey in the '70s - a camera capable of producing pictures indistinguishable from those taken with a top professional 35mm camera.
Konica EE Matic Deluxe
The Konica EE-Matic Deluxe was a rangefinder camera with selenium meter controlled exposure, made by Konica (Made in Japan) in 1963. The built-in meter was called "electric eye". Its window was around the lens opening, within the filter thread. The selenium photo cell behind that window automatically controlled shutter-speed/aperture setting. The actual speed was shown by an indicator in the optical bright-frame viewfinder. There was also an indicator for under-enlightment in the finder.

Canon EOS 1000D
This was my earlier camera, gave up on me in Tokyo, where the shutter wont work. Later sent for check up, and was deduced that the mainboard (or something like that was faulty). It was quite a troublesome factor. But luckily, i had my Lumix, and was still shooting happily away. And in return from Canon, they offered me an offer I can't refuse. This is somewhat give and take
